The City of Tulsa is Oklahoma’s second-largest city, and the County Seat of Tulsa County. It is located in the state’s northeastern quadrant, adjacent to the Arkansas River and has grown consistently since the 1950s due to its location to Interstates 44 and 244 as well as to State Highways 11, 51, 64, 75, 169, and 412. Tulsa currently has a population of approximately 791,000. Tulsa is home of one of the largest curations of Art Deco architecture in the country and offers a wide variety of cultural attractions such as museums, theater shows at the Performing Arts Center including Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra as well as traveling Broadway shows and several institutions of higher learning.
