McKinney

Just 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, McKinney is a picturesque city with approximately 222,000 residents that manages to maintain a small-town feel with easy access to the Metroplex. Named for Collin McKinney, a 19th century land surveyor, McKinney serves as the County Seat of Collin County, which has a collective population of 1.25 million.

McKinney offers a suburban feel with a mix of urban amenities and is known for its good schools, family-friendly environment, and a strong sense of community. Residents enjoy a variety of shopping and dining options, as well as access to parks and recreational activities. In 2014, Money Magazine named McKinney the Best Place To Live in The United States.
